Ibanez ATK700, Ibanez’s new Bass Guitar models

Ibanez has announced the return of the ATK Bass Guitar Serie, released in the 90’s, and 2 new signature bass guitars, the Mike D’Antonio (Killswitch Engage/ex-Overcast bass player) Signature Bass and Paul Gray (from Slipknot) Signature Bass Guitar.

Ibanez ATK700

The new model from the Ibanez ATK Bass Guitar Series is the Ibanez ATK700, an aggressive instrument (like original ATK’s) with versatile and comfortable design. The instrument features ash body (with quilted maple top), 5–pieces maple/walnut neck, maple fingerboard, ATK4 bridge, ATK triple-coil neck pickup and built-in 3–band EQ. The ATK700 is available in blue moon and natural finishes and its approximate price is $930.

Mike D’Antonio Signature Bass MDB1

The Mike D’Antonio Signature Bass MDB1 is based on the Ibanez SRX700 model but it’s a little bit heavier. The bass features light ash body, 5–pieces MDB4 maple/walnut neck, rosewood fingerboard, Accu-cast B200 bridge, PFR-AL4N and PFR-AL4B pickups, EQB low impedance EQ and 1 single control. The Ibanez MDB1 is available in black flat finish only and it’s price is $1000.

Paul Gray Signature Bass PGB1

The Paul Gray Signature Bass PGB1 (and PGB1L for left-handed bass players) features light ash body, 5–pieces PGB4 maple/walnut neck, rosewood fingerboard, ATK4 bridge, ATK triple-coil neck pickup built-in 3–band EQ and 1 volume control. The Ibanez PGB1 (and PGB1L) is available in transparent black finish and its price is $900 ($950 for left-handed version).
